2009 Year of Transformation

a1

The life of every church is a journey and it has a destination.  All churches end up somewhere; a few churches end up somewhere on purpose.  The Austin First Church has chosen to end up according to God's purpose.

2009 will be a year of transformation for Austin First.  New location, new building, new challenges, new blessings, new people, new joys, new friends.  One principle from the book of Acts is that God is in the business of transforming people more than organizations.  Our first task will be to ask God how He wants to transform each of us personally.  God has chosen you and 700 plus other people as building blocks for the Austin First Seventh-day Adventist Church.  Half of us are here now.  He will send many more.  Please join together as we discover how God will transform us individually and how this transforms a church, a community, and the whole Austin Metro area.
